Gene Function, contains the proceedings of the 12th Meeting of the Federation of European Biochemical Societies held in Dresden, Germany in 1978. Subsequent chapters explore arc-like and helical arrangements of nucleosome cores; changes in gene expression during cellular differentiation; polyadenylation and processing of pre-messenger RNA; and the molecular biology of bacteriophages T3 and T7.
